This is a portfolio site by artist Debbie Tucker Stevens. Shown within are just a few examples of my design, illustration and photography.
I have worked in publishing/printing, collaborating on all types of publications and advertising for different businesses in the Washington D.C. area. Along the way, I have become skilled at computer programs, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I’m a production pro with design savvy. Typography, artwork, photography and text can be merged together by me to convey the message. Brochures, logo design, flyers, newsletters, posters, direct mail components and more can be expertly created by me.
Before computers were widely used in design, I freelanced as an airbrush artist for Nordstrom and other stores while working full time at my regular job. I was a member of a cooperative art gallery (Town Center Gallery in Rockville/Bethesda) where I exhibited and sold my watercolor/airbrush paintings for over 10 years. I am a digital photo enthusiast. The city of Rockville included one of my photos in an anniversary celebration of Rockville.
I have a BA in Design from American University in Washington, DC and studied at Moore College of Art, Philadelphia (junior year). After college graduation my education continued by taking classes such as Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress and more.
This website was created by me in WordPress. I recently retired from a marketing company located in Frederick, Maryland.
